Lel has 25 years experience in the skincare industry, and opened Botanica Beauty Studio in 2013.  She is a skincare product formulator, and creator of elly b ORGANIC SKINCARE.  Lel is a New England local, originally living on a property near Uralla and now based in Armidale.  Lel is also an ASAP Trained Skincare Consultant. Botanica specialises in all skincare treatments - including microdermabrasion and organic facials.  Come in and chat to her about your skincare needs with a free consultation.

Covid 19 Safe Salon Procedures

When you arrive for your appointment at Botanica:

There will be hand sanitizer on my desk, please use it generously. Your temperature will also be checked.

Only 1 person will be allowed into Botanica at a time. If you arrive early, please take a seat on the bench outside and I will be with you shortly. If others are accompanying you please ask them to wait outside on the bench.

I cannot stress this one enough … if you have had or been in contact with anyone who has had COVID 19 or you have any COLD or FLU like symptoms PLEASE for everyone’s sake reschedule your appointment, even if your symptoms are mild.

Use contactless payment where possible. I would appreciate it if you have downloaded the COVID-safe app before your appointment.

COVID 19 Safe Salon

At Botanica, hygiene safety has always been a top priority and I adhere to all the health and safety requirements of NSW Health.  I have also completed the COVID 19 Infection Control Course and display my Certificate. I have developed a COVID 19 safety plan for all daily procedures.

The following safety and infection controls are in place for Botanica:

All metal implements are autoclaved to hospital standards, disposables are used wherever possible, hand washing and wearing of gloves and a mask (where applicable), cleaning and disinfecting all equipment and surfaces after  every client, new or disposable towels for every client. I have allocated additional time between clients to allow for disinfecting. If you arrive early, please take a seat on the bench outside and I will let you know as soon as I am ready for you.

 What can you do to assist?

If you arrive early, please take a seat on the bench outside and I will be with you as soon as possible.

Attend your appointment on your own.

You will be asked to use the hand sanitizer and have your temperature checked on arrival.

If you are a new client you will need to fill in a form prior to your treatment.

Allow me to take products from the shelf for you.

Maintain social distancing where possible.

Use contactless payment if possible.
